How to Edit, Disable or Delete a User?

Managing Users in EpicStitch

NOTE: This action is only available for SuperAdmin.

  1. Login to EpicStitch Instance:
  • Log in using your SuperAdmin credentials.
  • Navigate to the Manage User section.

2. Locate the User:

  • Find the user you want to manage from the list displayed under Manage Users.
  • Use the search bar or scroll through the list if needed.

3. Available Actions:

On the Action side of the user row, you'll see options to:

3.1. Edit User:

  • Click on the Edit icon.
  • Update details like Name, Email, Phone, Role, Status, or Password as required.
  • Click on Update to save the changes.

3.2. Disable User:

  • Click on the Disable icon.
  • This action retains the user account but prevents access until reactivated.

3.3. Delete User:

  • Click on the Delete icon.
  • Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the user from the system.

Important Notes:

  1. Always verify updates before saving changes to avoid unintentional errors.
  2. Disabling a user is recommended if you may need to restore their access later, as opposed to deleting the account.
  3. Deleted user accounts cannot be recovered.
